Who we are

Furneaux Health Pty Ltd (ABN 36 673 294 203), trading as Furneaux Saunas, is based in Launceston, Tasmania. We can be contacted at contact@furneauxsaunas.com.au.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry or order request, we collect your name, email address, phone number, suburb or delivery address, and any details you include in your message. We don't collect payment information through this website. Payment is arranged directly by invoice and bank transfer.

How we use it

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, arrange quotes, process orders, and organise delivery and installation. We don't sell or rent your contact information to other businesses for their own marketing.

Service providers

We use service providers to host the website, deliver enquiry emails and store business email. The website is hosted by Netlify, enquiries are transmitted through Netlify Forms and received in Google Workspace. These providers handle information under their own privacy and security terms.

How we store it

Enquiry details are stored securely and kept only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and, where you become a customer, to support your order and warranty.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing contact@furneauxsaunas.com.au. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to measure visits and product views, phone and email link clicks, and completed enquiries, understand which pages are useful and assess our advertising. For a completed enquiry, our hosting provider can also send Meta a server-side lead event. This includes the page and advertising identifiers, the sauna model selected, and securely hashed versions of the email address and phone number entered in the form so Meta can match the enquiry to an ad. Meta does not receive your name, suburb, delivery details or message. The browser and server events share one event ID so the enquiry is counted once.

For visitors identified as being in Australia, tracking is on by default unless you have previously turned it off. We show a tracking notice on your first visit. For other visitors, or when your country cannot be determined, tracking stays off until you allow it. Your choice is saved in your browser and applies to browser analytics and server-side Meta lead events. You can turn tracking off at any time using Tracking settings in the footer or on this page. The website works normally with tracking off. Turning it off stops future events; it does not delete data already sent.

Google and Meta receive technical details such as your IP address, browser information, page visits and cookie identifiers. Meta may use these details for advertising measurement and targeted ads. These providers may process information overseas, including in the United States. Hashed contact details are used for matching and are not anonymous. We disable automatic Meta form-field collection and keep Google advertising signals off.
